Institutions & Organizations

Indigenous foodways education, culinary consulting, menu development, staff training, and implementation support for schools, universities, and organizations.
You can work with Wadulisi's even when we are not your caterer
Many universities, schools, and organizations have existing food-service agreements, approved food-service providers, preferred-vendor requirements, or institutional procurement requirements. Wadulisi's works with those structures.
An institution can work with Wadulisi's even when Wadulisi's is not the approved caterer preparing the food. Your existing culinary team or approved provider prepares and serves the food. Wadulisi's provides the culturally informed culinary education, menu development, recipe development, staff training, culinary guidance, educational materials, and implementation support behind it.
What if our food-service agreement doesn't allow an outside caterer?
Then we work with the provider you already have. Wadulisi's can give your food-service team menu concepts, foodways education, recipe development, recipe scaling, culinary guidance, staff workshops, educational materials, implementation support, and culturally informed consultation.

Our approach
Wadulisi's provides culturally informed culinary education and guidance rooted in our own foodways, lived knowledge, research, and relationships, while recognizing that Indigenous Nations and communities have distinct foodways, histories, and perspectives.
Payment for institutions
Universities, schools, government agencies, nonprofits, and other institutions may have procurement policies that require payment after services are completed. Wadulisi's can accommodate these policies when they are agreed to in advance and documented in a signed contract or service agreement. PO, ACH, check, or other approved payment methods may be used when agreed to in the applicable contract or service agreement.
Institutional payment procedures do not automatically waive deposit requirements. Wadulisi's may still require a deposit or advance payment sufficient to cover food, supplies, staffing, travel, equipment, rentals, and other significant pre-event costs. See Booking & FAQ for details.
Need the food too?
When your policies allow it, Wadulisi's can also cater. See Community Meals.
